403rd Family Readiness Group
What is the FRG?
"The Family Readiness Group (FRG) is an officially command- sponsored organization of family members, volunteers, and Soldiers belonging to a unit, that together provide an avenue of mutual support and assistance, and a network of communications among the family members, the chain of command, and community resources. FRGs help create a climate of mutual support within the unit and community. Basic FRG goals include supporting the military mission through provision of support, outreach, and information to family members. FRGs play an integral part in the Family and Soldier Readiness System (FSRS)". ( https://www.myarmyonesource.com/familyprogramsandservices/familyprograms/familyreadinessgroup-frg )

What is the Soldier Relief Fund?
This fund was set up by Martha Hall and Rowbecca Searor to help our soldiers and veterans of the 403rd. We can't help them with funds through the Family Readiness Group due to rules of the government.
We started this fund by selling candy bars at the Central Square Lioness Apple Festival as well as private donations. This fund has been used to assist a soldier that had a house fire, a soldier that got hurt in Afghanistan, and a soldier that was in a motorcycle accident. We were also able to assist a veteran that needed help with Christmas for his family.
Although the soldiers don't contact the FRG directly, the NCOs or Commander contact the FRG directly on their behalf.
Please pray for our FRG group, our soldiers and our veterans.
