The Pastor Search is over!
August 13 at 11:03 AMGood morning Church!
With the blessing of Dr. Matthew Pickering and the PennYork District of the Wesleyan Church: Your Local Church Board Members and Members of the Search Committee are happy to announce that Pastor Andrew Fidurko has accepted the call to pastor Mallory Wesleyan Church for a 2 year term!
There is still much to do before Pastor Andrew and family will be able to join us. Please keep them in prayer as he gives his notice at his counseling job and to Hillside Wesleyan Church. Pastor Andrew will also be looking for other employment in our area as well as housing for the family.
We are thankful to our faithful Brothers and Sisters of Hillside Wesleyan for standing along side Pastor Andrew as he grew as a Christian and then as he followed God's call to pastoral ministry. May we be faithful in doing the same as he continues to work toward ordination and beyond.
Don't forget to keep your LBA and Search committee in prayer as well as they work diligently during this transition.
The LBA will continue to keep the church family updated as progress is made and a start date is determined.
Most importantly, we give thanks to our mighty God who has all of this in His hand and has answered all of our prayers. His plan is Good and we thank Him for it!

Pastor Andrew Fidurko
I am from the Olean area, born and raised. I still live close in the Portville/Cuba area in a small home in the country. Not raised in the church, I found God and was saved at an event when I was 16 years old. God has transformed my life since that time as I continue to grow in faith.
I pursued social work as my first career, receiving a Bachelors degree in 2003 and Masters in 2007, all the time working in human services and now mental health therapy. I am focused on community coordination of resources, family therapy, marital therapy, and individual mental health therapy.
Music has always been a large part of my life as well. I have participated in musicals and select choirs in high school, Fredonia Chamber singer tours in college, and community theatre and choirs as an adult. Since high school I have been on worship teams as a harmony and lead vocalist, learned bass in college, and was self-taught in guitar as an adult filling a need for our worship team at the time.
I have been worship leader and director at Hillside Wesleyan church since around 2008 and felt a calling to pursue more in ministry, which led to attending FLAME courses at Houghton College.
I became officially an Assistant Pastor at Hillside in Fall 2017, a licensed minister in the Western New York District in June 2018, and am pursuing ordination in the next 1-2 years.
I continue to pray for those that have touched my life, the attenders of my church, and the lost in the Olean area.
I married my wonderful wife Susan in 2011, and we have a 2 year old son, Daniel.
My interests are movies (especially sci-fi), games of all sorts, and learning new skills, especially outdoor skills.

Sue Fidurko
Hello Mallory Wesleyan Church!
I’m Sue Fidurko, and here is a little bit about me. I was raised in a Christian home in a small town in Wayne County, NY, and made the commitment to follow Christ when I was about 5 years old. After high school, I went through nursing school, and am a Licensed Practical Nurse. As much as I love nursing, I really love being a full time Mom and wife! I feel my call to ministry is to help my husband and raise our family. I have helped Andrew in every area of ministry that he has served in, and have helped in various ministries throughout my life. I feel my spiritual gifts are helps and service, and I am often “behind the scenes” when serving in church. It is an absolute dream come true to be blessed to stay home with Daniel, and be the one who gets to teach him so much about the world around him! Among my favorite actives are spending time with friends and family, exploring parks, photography, playing games, and occasionally watching baseball (go Mets!). We look forward to meeting you all in person!
Daniel Fidurko
Daniel will turn 3 yrs old on July 22nd, and is full of adventure! After years of praying for a child, Daniel came into our life in October 2016. He was placed with us through foster care, and officially became a Fidurko when the adoption was completed in March 2017. Daniel is so eager to learn anything and everything. Though his independence is a struggle at times, he brings so much life into our family! He loves anything to do with space, airplanes, the water, and super heroes.
